Martha Stewart has a website, after all she is THE lifestyle queen:
In the drugstores you can get little bottles of essential oils, there are many, many fragrances - vanilla and lavendar are just a couple. You would just use a few drops of the oil. You could use the cooking imitation vanilla I suppose. But it’s a thin liquid, and it would lose its scent much sooner than the oils.
Make sure you use a container with a tight-fitting lid or your scent will evaporate sooner.
Some people use dish soap to create the bubbles. However, this can really cause urinary infections. I would recommend mild shampoo if you must have bubbles! It much gentler! You can also add glycerin to the mixture. This can be purchased at the drugstore too. You can buy this stuff at Bath and Spa type stores too - but it is MUCH cheaper at the pharmacy!
Good luck!
