How do I get fabric paint out of a yellow shirt without ruining the shirt?

asked:

I got two yellow shirts & several tubes of fabric paint from the arts & crafts store. One, my son’s size & the other, mine. I didn’t think to put paper, etc, inside the shirt when laying it down to paint on or to use hangers when picking it up. It blotted onto other parts of the shirt & bled through to the back side when painting. I only want to remove the parts where it bled through to the back & where what we painted got on other parts of the shirt.

I have so far tried, hand soap, Clorox non-chlorine bleach alterntive, and Woolite. The hand soap removed it from my hands, so I thought it might remove it from the shirts. I’m thinking about putting it in the washing machine at my mom’s in a few hours. I don’t care much if it removes the parts we meant to paint. I can always redo those parts. I would like for us to be able to wear these shirts out in public and get compliments- not have gaping holes, etc. Ha ha!

It has been about 10 hours since we painted it.

Thanks.

That paint is formulated to not be removable. Sorry.
