Hand painting on t-shirts?

MeLiSsA_Dog_Trainer asked: I wanted to put hand prints of my 4 month old on a t-shirt,.. I have seen this done on the baby story on tv.
The lady at the craft store told me there is not products out there for babies,.. is this true, has anyone else done it?
